Come and celebrate with the Fernhill Family at the first event to celebrate the school’s 40^th Anniversary.  The 40^th Anniversary Ball in aid of CHAS the Children’s Hospice Association (www.chas.org.uk) and the school’s Charity Foundation will take place on Saturday 10^th March 2012, in the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow at 7.30pm.

The evening will include a champagne reception, dinner and dancing. We are delighted to announce that the entertainment will be provided by Big Vern “n” the Shootahs a popular nine piece soul band from Glasgow who play well known covers with the twist of a soul/funk vibe which is guaranteed to make this one memorable Fernhill event!

Tickets costing £55 per person can be reserved now and paid for at a later date; we welcome individuals and couples as well as groups or tables of 10, and we are happy to accommodate any seating requests you may have. You also have the option, if you prefer to pay for your ticket/s in monthly instalments during the four month period preceding the event.

Should you wish to sponsor the event we can offer two types of sponsorship – Gold and Silver. Silver contributors will have their family name listed in the event’s souvenir programme on the legacy page; this costs £50 per family name.  Alternatively, Gold contributors will be gifted a quarter page advert for either their family or company at a cost of £250.

The evening will also include an auction and a raffle, and we need your support to make this part of the evening a success. However, to generate the maximum amount of money for the two worthwhile charities we need the auction prizes to be the “money can’t buy” type and raffle prizes to be of a very high quality. Any donations for either the auction or the raffle will be gratefully received and acknowledged in the event programme.

If you are unable to come to the event, but would still like to support the 40^th Anniversary Ball you can still purchase sponsorship or donate to the raffle or auction.
