All of our pupils are encouraged to take part in competitions with other schools in a wide range of activities. We are proud of our pupils who always represent the school in an admirable fashion.
We have been most successful in the local music festivals, regional and national art competitions, regional public speaking events and chess competitions. Three of our pupils have been recipients of the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Award for their Inspiration to others and work with younger pupils in the school. Details of success in events are to be found in our School Magazine, published every year in December.
Visits to Theatres, Art Galleries, excursions to the Cairngorms, France and Italy for ski-ing and school trips to places of interest, often connected with project work have been arranged. These have included London, Stratford, Chester, York, Iona, Lindisfarne, Paris and the Loire Valley. The Choir has also sung in Barcelona, Monserrat Abbey, Florence and Venice.
