*Terms & Conditions for Scholarships

 

1 The Fernhill School Scholarships are for 5 pupils for the length of their education at Fernhill School from P7 to S6 if required.

 

2 The Fernhill School Scholarships are available to any family who are unable to meet the costs of educating their daughter at Fernhill School. Current pupils and former pupils of Fernhill School are not eligible to receive the Fernhill School Scholarship.

 

3 The Fernhill School Scholarship shall cover the cost of the fees that would be due to Fernhill School during the time that the pupil remains a pupil at the school. No cash alternative is available and the Fernhill School Scholarship is not transferable to any other independent school.

 

4 In the event of any pupil who receives a Fernhill School Scholarship leaves before the end of their education at Fernhill School and at any point thereafter joins another independent school then half of the fees that would have been payable from the date of commencement until the date of leaving but for the award of the Fernhill School Scholarship shall become payable by way of damages for early termination of the Scholarship.

 

5 Fernhill School reserves the right to investigate and possibly withdraw a person from their Scholarship if there is adequate proven evidence of serious allegations of illegal activities discovered.

 

6 The Fernhill School Scholarships shall be awarded on the basis of selection criteria set by the Board of Governors and the Head Teacher. The final decision as to the successful applicants rests with the Head Teacher whose decision shall be final. Reasons for not being awarded a Fernhill School Scholarship are not provided as resources do not permit.

 

7 Fernhill School reserves the right to make reasonable changes to these terms and conditions as and when circumstances require it.
