House System

The House System is a great strength of Fernhill School and makes an enormous contribution to the family atmosphere which we endeavour to cultivate. The House System ensures that pupils from each year group are united and can work together for a common purpose. It also ensures that we have motivated teams of pupils in the school and provide leadership opportunities for the children.

In the Primary Department, we have introduced a House System for sports activities. This encourages the younger children to participate in teams and compete in a constructive way. Sporting activities are accessible to all pupils and all points awarded are reported to the pupils at the Junior Assembly.
