Aims and Objectives
The aim is to deliver, through geography, the scope for pupils to acquire knowledge, understanding, empathy and skills to equip them to be responsible global citizens in the ever-changing world around them.
Geography consists of:
- Human Geography
- Physical Geography
- Environmental Geography
- Subject specific and transferable skills
Geography is studied as a discrete subject in S1-S2 at Fernhill School. Beyond that, the department offers Access, Standard Grade, Higher and Advanced Higher.
