Transport

School buses connect with various vantage points throughout Lanarkshire and Glasgow. Some of the starting points are Neilston, Paisley, Newton Mearns, Clarkston, New Stevenson, Bothwell, Airdrie, Hamilton, Carluke and Mollinsburn. Further details about their routes and pick-up points can be obtained from the school. Trains to Burnside Station also connect with a school bus.

While every effort is made to accommodate transport requirements, we kindly ask that you recognise that Fernhill School must try to satisfy the needs of the majority in this matter. Buses never leave the school earlier than 3.35p.m. In the case of very bad weather, parents are free to collect their child from School at any time during the day. However, children are never dismissed early without at least 24 hours prior warning to parents, except in exceptional circumstances.

In the event of a bus being delayed in the evening, there is always an adult present until the last child has left the premises.
